Overwhelmed

Whoa, after having walked through the career fair at UBC I'm a bit overwhelmed. So much stuff to do! All these application forms to fill out and all these different choices. Well, I don't want to teach overseas so that I don't have to think about. But then all these different school districts to choose from. The Langley one sounds really interesting because they have this mentorship program for new teachers! That sounds exciting. I'm scheduled for an interview in June for Richmond...that's such a long ways away. Surrey - I'll definitely apply to because it's a growing district. Now one booth really caught my attention but I don't know...it's Calgary. I mean, no offence to Calgary...but what is there to do there? BUT it's attracting me cuz of the pay as well as the many open positions in that district! One main pro is that you don't have to TOC before you get hired by a school. Not like here in BC. AND classroom sizes are small compared to BC!! Hmmmmm...do I really want to move away from the place that I grew up in? DL, if you're reading this...what do you think? =)
