So J&J's wedding have come and gone. It was such a great wedding. I must say their wedding reception/banquet at night beats out any wedding reception I've been to! Here's just a sample of their buffet menu:
- raw shucked oysters, cooked mussels, pan fried huge scallops and prawns, smoked salmon
- prime rib, lamb, short ribs, duck breast
- mashed potatoes, mac & cheese, rice
- sushi and sashimi station served to your order
- pre-plated food --> ahi tuna, lobster tail
- dessert room: gelato station, candy buffet, chocolate fountain fondue, cheesecake, pastries
let's just say, I was uber stuffed....had to let out the corset on my dress a bit in order to breathe! yup, bulging stomach I had by the end of the night. They had 2 crazy ice sculptures - Eiffel Tower and a Grand Piano.
Here are a few pictures:
As for my updates:
- still TOCing and loving it
- I can now start concentrating on my wedding again after having placed it on hold while planning for J&J's wedding.
- the next big thing we need to do is get the invites all sorted out and have them printed.
