Adams River - Salmon Run 2010

Hubby and I decided to go for a short weekend getaway by going to Adams River (about 45 min N from Kamloops). Boy, was it sure busy there........and smelly! But what a sight! Never in my life have I ever seen so many green-headed red salmon swimming around. The river was literally filled with them and all you're able to see are streams of dark red colour. However, not everything was a pretty sight. All along the shores were filled with dead, rotting fish, hence the bad smell. Thankfully, the weather was great so we didn't have to walk through rain or mud or anything like that. Below are just a few pictures we took:
