Woohoo, my summer vacation officially starts now! No more having to teach for 2 whole months! And then 5 weeks in Australia. What could be better than this? hehe. I have to say that this whole month of TOCing has been interesting. I got called to sub for music classes more than regular classes! How bizarre is that, 'specially since my teacher training was not in music. But good thing I have a music background so I could teach music.
Another great start to my summer...free pair of tickets to watch Bard on the Beach (Midsummer's Night Dream was the play being performed) from Starbucks. YES! I knew my addiction to Starbucks would one day pay off. LOL. Not only did I get free tickets but they were also givng up $5 Starbucks card PLUS free coffee/Tazo tea to drink while you watch the show. And during intermission we all got free food to eat! What a great night! And the play was HILARIOUS! Since it was a Starbucks night, they even added some things about Starbucks into their dialogue. Quite funny I must say.
Well, less than a week before I'm off to Australia! Can't wait! Keep checking back on this blog for updates on my trip =)
