Ingredients:
medium tofu - the container with 2 blocks of tofu
sandwich ziploc bag of lean ground pork
soy sauce
sugar
cornstarch
3 cloves of garlic - crushed
olive oil
2 tbsp of chili bean sauce
1/4 cup water
chopped green onion (optional)
steamed rice
Marinate the ground pork with soy sauce, sugar and cornstarch. In a fry pan, cook the garlic. Add chili bean sauce and stir in ground pork. While pork is being cooked, cut the tofu into small cubes. Throw in the tofu into the fry pan, stir and add water. Cover the pan with a lid and let it cook for about 5 min. Uncover the lid - if the sauce is too thin, add a cornstarch/water mixture to thicken it up. Serve ma po tofu over a bowl of steamed rice.

yah, but I don't have that at home. All my cooking is based on what ingredients I have "in-stock". Wow, I feel so proud of myself...I can actually read all the chinese words :)
