Lasagna

Another day of cooking :)  Pretty sure this isn't really "authentic" lasagna but it's my easy recipe.  Very little prep work needed but still tastes oh so good.

Ingredients:
1/2 box lasagna noodles
1 lb lean Ground Beef
1 Tbsp Italian seasoning
1 tsp cayenne pepper
2 Tsp onion powder
1 jar/can spaghetti sauce
1 diced yellow bell pepper

300g ricotta cheese (small container)
fresh chopped parsley
1 egg
shredded cheese

Cook the lasagna in water until soft - drain the water and set pasta aside. In a bowl, mix ground beef, italian seasoning, cayenne pepper, onion powder and yellow bell pepper.  Cook beef mixture in a pan over medium-high heat. When the beef is 3/4 cooked, add spaghetti sauce and simmer for about 5 min. In a separate bowl, mix together ricotta cheese, parsley and egg.  In a baking pan, layer meat sauce and add 3 noodles on top.  Add a layer of ricotta cheese mixture and then meat sauce. Add another 3 noodles on top. Continue this pattern for 1 more time. Lastly, add remaining meat sauce over the last layer of noodles and sprinkle shredded cheese on top.  Bake in oven at 350F for 30-40 min.
